To help you feel empowered throughout your recruitment journey, we are excited to announce Talent Boost Tuesdays! Talent Boost is a mini-series of virtual events that we will be hosting throughout the month of August. Each event will feature speakers who will present on different topics to help you navigate the CPA recruiting season and set yourself apart.
See below for the session workshop topics and event details. Be sure to register in advance for the events, as registration closes the day before each session. All sessions are intended for current post-secondary students who will be applying for summer/co-op/internship and full-time positions in 2024 during the Fall 2023 CPA recruit.
All sessions will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams, with an in-person component available for the Boost Your Networking Skills session. All details will be provided after registration is closed for each respective session.

This free information session will explain the admission requirements and the structure of the CPA program, and how you can access financial assistance, free mentorship and career counselling services from BC settlement agencies to help you attain your goals in becoming a CPA. |
June 29 | 5:00pm – 5:45pm | Conversation with a CPA | Online | Are you curious about what CPAs actually do? If yes, join this short 45-minute conversation and listen to a real-life CPA and learn about what accountants do and where they work. You will then have an opportunity to ask your own questions about a career in accounting. Featured speaker: Ashay Gupta, CPA, Manager of Capital Budgets, Financial Planning & Analysis at City of Vancouver. |
MNP’s Head Start Conference will allow students to learn more about MNP’s recruitment process and opportunities, and to get more insight into who we are as a firm. There will also be an opportunity for students to network and connect with regions in breakout rooms!
