To help you feel empowered throughout your recruitment journey, we are excited to announce Talent Boost Tuesdays! Back due to popular demand, Talent Boost Tuesdays is a mini-series of virtual events that we will be hosting throughout the months of July and August. Each event will feature speakers who will present on different topics to help you navigate the recruiting season and set yourself apart.

See below for the session workshop topics and event details. These sessions are intended for current post-secondary students who will be applying to summer internship, co-op and full-time positions starting as early as January 2025 for select roles.

  1. Boost Your Networking Skills
    Date: Tuesday, July 30th, 2024
    Time: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST 
    Format: In-person (Vancouver office) or Virtual*
    Registration Deadline: Registration for the in-person option closes Tuesday, July 23rd, at 11:59pm PST. Registration for the virtual option closes Monday, July 29th at 11:59pm PST. Please note that we have limited capacity for the in-person component and will do our best to accommodate requests to attend in-person.
    *Please note that only the in-person component will include a speed-networking component

  2. Boost Your Resume & Cover Letter
    Date: Tuesday, August 20th, 2024
    Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST
    Registration Deadline: Monday, August 19th at noon PST.

  3. Boost Your Interview Skills
    Date: Tuesday, August 27th, 2024
    Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST
    Registration Deadline: Monday, August 26th at noon PST.

All Talent Boost Tuesday sessions will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams with the exception of the Networking Skills session. All details will be provided at least 1 day prior to the event.

The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) has awards for accounting students who have financial need and who are attending a BC post-secondary institution in their first through fourth years. The next deadline is May 15, 2024. You could be eligible for an award of up to $3,000!
