2024 CPA Spring Recruit Framework and Guidelines now available

The 2024 Lower Mainland Spring Recruit Framework for BDO, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, MNP and PwC and the 2024 Lower Mainland Spring and Fall Recruit Guidelines for all other firms is now available: https://www.bccpa.ca/become-a-cpa/about-the-program/experience/cpabc-post-secondary-recruitment-guidelines/#post-secondary

Key dates to note from the firms participating in the spring recruit framework:

  • Application deadline – Wednesday, May 1st
  • First interview/offer out date – Tuesday, May 7th
  • Offer acceptance deadline – Friday, May 31st

CPABC Annual Business Case Competition 2024

Registration Deadline: January 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm (noon) PST
First Round: January 26 – 28, 2024 (video submission)
Final Round: March 16, 2024 (in-person presentation)

Demonstrate and develop your business acumen by challenging yourself and your teammates to create strategic, innovative solutions to real issues facing real businesses! The CPABC Annual Business Case Competition is a business strategy case competition with two competition rounds. The Top 8 teams from the First Round will be invited to compete in the Final Round at the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus. The Final Round includes an evening networking and celebration reception joined by CPA members across BC.

The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of $2,400. The second placed team will receive a cash prize of $1,200 and the third placed team will receive a cash prize of $600.
