Talent Boost Tuesdays | Give your Career a Boost!

To help you feel empowered throughout your recruitment journey, we are excited to announce Talent Boost Tuesdays! Back due to popular demand, Talent Boost Tuesdays is a mini-series of virtual events that we will be hosting throughout the month of March. Each event will feature speakers who will present on different topics to help you navigate the recruiting season and set yourself apart.

See below for the session workshop topics and event details. These sessions are intended for current post-secondary students who will be applying to summer internship, co-op and full-time positions starting as early as Fall 2024 through to Fall 2025.

    1. Boost Your Networking Skills

    Date: Tuesday, March 12th, 2024
    Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST
    Registration Deadline: Monday, March 11th at noon

    Also, announcing the KPMG (K)offee Break, an in-person event where you can apply the knowledge gained from the Boost Your Networking Skills session and interact with representatives from various service lines at KPMG! We encourage you to confirm your attendance promptly as the number of available spots is limited. Please be aware that priority will be given to students who participate in the Boost Your Networking Skills session.

    UBC CFA Exam Prep Info Session – Wednesday January 31, 11am PT

    The CFA Standards of Professional Conduct outline ethical guidelines for CFA candidates. Whether you’re considering the CFA exam or want to deepen your knowledge key CFA topic areas, this session, led by award-winning instructor and highly experienced CFA charterholder Darren Degraaf, CFA, MAFM, CPA (not in public practice), PRM, will equip you with the insights and expertise to navigate the world of finance and hopefully pick up a few “tips n tricks” to help you perform even better on game day.
