Talent Boost Tuesdays | Give your Career a Boost!

To help you feel empowered throughout your recruitment journey, we are excited to announce Talent Boost Tuesdays! Talent Boost is a mini-series of virtual events that we will be hosting throughout the month of August. Each event will feature speakers who will present on different topics to help you navigate the CPA recruiting season and set yourself apart.

See below for the session workshop topics and event details. Be sure to register in advance for the events, as registration closes the day before each session. All sessions are intended for current post-secondary students who will be applying for summer/co-op/internship and full-time positions in 2024 during the Fall 2023 CPA recruit.

  1. Boost Your Networking Skills

Reminder – Networking for fall public practice recruit workshop (virtual) on Tuesday, July 18th , 4:45 pm PT

As a reminder, we are just getting started with our workshop series for the upcoming fall recruitment cycle for pre-approved program route (PPR) positions with public practice firms. The majority of public practice accounting firms will be hiring through this cycle, so if you are interested in working in public practice and will have all of your CPA PEP pre-requisites in time to start a full-time role in 2024, attend these upcoming sessions to learn more and build your foundation for a successful recruitment experience!

The next workshop in this series will focus on networking and will be held online on Tuesday, July 18th, 4:45-6:15 pm. Meeting people, gathering information and building a network makes a huge difference during campus recruiting. See how companies are making efforts to meet students and have YOU can prepare to make the best of those opportunities and secure your first accounting role even before completing your education. Don’t miss it!
