Upcoming PGWP webinars for international students who are graduating this May

Get up-to-date information about the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), including the eligibility criteria, application process, work eligibility during the transition to a PGWP, and important considerations when staying in Canada after graduation. There will be an online presentation for the first 30 minutes followed by a Q&A period with Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) from International Student Advising.

Reminder – PGWP workshop for international students – Monday, November 21st, 11 am PT

As a reminder, UBC International Student Advising will be hosting a DAP-exclusive virtual PGWP workshop via Zoom on Monday, November 21st, 11 am PT.

This session will highlight the benefits of the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) as you consider your options to further your studies, work in Canada or apply for permanent residence. You will learn about timelines to apply for the PGWP, eligibility requirements, how to prepare your application, work eligibility, and what you need to know if you have family members in Canada too. The information provided will take the potential impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic into consideration.
