Career Guidance with CPA’s

Please join CPABC’s Surrey/Langley/North Delta Chapter’s upcoming event: Career Guidance with CPA’s on November 16, 2023, 5:30-8:30PM at the Guildford Golf Club in Surrey. This event includes a moderated panel discussion with senior finance professionals from CPA careers in two main sectors – public practice and industry. You will be able to network with the panelists and learn about life after the designation and the transformation of the finance function. Light refreshments will be provided.

CPABC Annual Business Case Competition 2023

Show off and refine your business acumen by challenging yourself and your teammates to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to real issues facing real businesses! The CPABC Case Competition is a business strategy case competition with two competition rounds. The Top 8 teams from the First Round will be invited to the Final Round including an evening reception to network with CPA members across BC.

Prizes: The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of $2000 and invited to a CPABC Mentor/Mentee Networking Event. The second placed team will receive a cash prize of $1000 and the third placed team will receive a cash prize of $500.

Teams: There are no limits on the number of teams from each school. Teams of four must have at least two students who are in their 1st or 2nd year of studies, and teams of three must have at least one student who is in their 1st or 2nd year of studies. Students of all disciplines are invited to participate, no prior experience is required. See Rules and Regulations for detailed information.
