What is biodiversity? Biodiversity is derived from ‘biological diversity’. It refers to all types of variation we find in life: genetic, species, and ecosystem. Here we focus on recording the different species we find – that could be during a special outing to a forest as or observations in your own backyard or neighbourhood.
Sometimes organisms are obvious and showy while others are cryptic and hidden from view. What can be more rewarding that finding a creature you have never seen before?…Identifying it and sharing your discovery with others!!
