Introduction to ESRI and ArcGIS

Manipulated data tables and added data to maps, while gaining the first entry-level knowledge of ArcGIS by completing ESRI’s online tutorial.

The main focus of this lab was to become familiar with ArcGIS and ArcMap, the fundamental softwares behind map creation, through ESRI’s online tutorial. Additionally, GIS applications on the web were explored, along with spatial data and analysis descriptions, and that of geographic integrity and ethics.
