The Spark Research Incubator has been home to the UBCO arm of the Victorian Review as well as the LGLC, DMS, and POSA projects since September 2013. The lab has been a wonderful space to get research projects off the ground (and to build community among the research assistants who work there). The incubation process has worked — the LGLC, DMS, and POSA projects are ready to move to their new space in The Humanist Data Lab in the Charles E. Fipke Centre for Innovative Research, room 251, making room for new projects in need of an incubator. Directed by Constance Crompton, The Humanist Data Lab will open in November 2015. Keep an eye out for the projects there. We’ll be just above the Starbucks — if you have picked up a coffee, feel free to pop by in late fall for a visit.
Thank you to FCCS for supporting a vibrant research community through the lab.
