UBC offers a diversity of opportunities for students to gain experience both on and off campus to tackle real world issues of sustainability. We are working with units such as Community Service Learning Initiatives (local and international exchange), Sustainability Ecological Economic Development Studies (SEEDS, UBC Sustainability Initiative), Co-op, CityStudio, and UBC Farm to provide a sustainability focus for students pursuing the pathway. We are currently working on designing a capstone course that focuses on student partnerships with community or industry. Students from different disciplines will collaborate to come up with creative solutions to real sustainability issues.
