A thank you note from the outgoing City of Vancouver’s Mayor. I will miss all those committee’ robust discussions and debates about the community’s social challenges.
Of all the awards and recognitions I have received from the community over the years, I decided to post this particular note because of my current situation. In one part of town, I’m prosecuted as an educator who’s a liar, dishonest, and a fraud. On the other side of town, I’m been honour and recognize for my service to the community. One of the many labels of a Black man in Canada!
