Fitness Screening

Our center offers a full range of fitness assessments to gain an accurate understanding of the client’s fitness level and health status. This allows us to create an individualized program based on each client’s specific goals (long term and short term), fitness ability, and severity of Diabetes. We will utilize both indirect and direct methods to measure each response to exercise to determine the safest mode of activity, duration, and intensity for each client. Measuring these assessments gives an initial baseline fitness level which will help track training improvements throughout the program. Our staff are happy to explain the method and reasoning behind each of these fitness evaluations and to answer any questions or concerns that may arise.
