Lesson Overview
Today is a half day. We will begin with Readings in the morning. We continue with Paulo Freire. I have included a short video of Paul Freire speaking (in Readings). The second reading is an essay summary on Clyde Hertzman’s “Social Geographies.” We will proceed to Case Study and then to Dialogue Circles, similar to yesterday. Two members of UBC Team will assist and participate in each Circle Dialogue. Today, we will, however, spend 1 hour on each part (Readings, Case Study, Dialogue). You may need to find more time to complete Readings.

Dialogue Circle
Gather your Dialogue group; assign new group Leader and Note Taker. Your own experiences, the Case, and Readings will provide the group with perspectives to consider: “What interventions are possible in schools with few resources?” Contact your UBC Team Assistants on WhatsApp or Facebook when ready to begin.
Notes and Posting
No posting to the larger group today since it is a half day. Take your own notes, however, for Final Exam studying.
