On Friday, December 12, ES Vancouver kicked off the holiday season with a festive celebration. A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event a great success!
Some highlights from the night include music performed by a string trio from the UBC School of Music, refreshments, canapes, and the 1st Annual Gingerbread House Competition. There were many creative examples, but in the end, Senate & Curricular Services took home the win and $100 to spend on a team lunch.
Congratulations to Jenny Lee-Walker for winning the Holiday Sweater Competition! Great effort everyone. You the bar high for next year’s competitors.
In an effort to spread holiday cheer to those who are less fortunate than ourselves, ES collected food for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and raised $345 for Blanket BC through 50/50 and beverage ticket sales. Kudos, team!
The winner of the 50/50 cash prize was ESP, Julie Foran. She took home nearly $250!
