Since: Enrolment Services since January 2016 and at UBC since May 2013
Professional Background: I graduated from UBC in May 2014 with a BA in Psychology (minor Sociology). I’ve worked at UBC Continuing Studies, CTLT, and have been a Staff Finder since July 2015. I suspect UBC IT might be quite familiar/exasperated with me by now for how many times I’ve requested access to network drives and email inboxes. I help out marginally with a UBC-produced podcast called Cited.
Personal: One time my friend and I entered the Vancouver Canucks 10K Fan Run. My friend’s mom made her safety pin some Band-Aids into her shorts (I guess she didn’t have pockets) in case of blisters. Our free Under Armour t-shirts were way too big (we’re both just over five feet tall) and we kind of looked like we were wearing tents. We did zero training beforehand, and took so long that all the Canucks in attendance had left by the time we finished.
