Professional background
Before coming to UBC, I worked for The Provincial Health Services Authority for 5 years as an Admin and Executive Assistant with Interpreting and Translation Services. I have also done freelance work in bookkeeping, supporting a non-profit board of directors, communications and building WordPress websites.
Interests
I love to travel and have visited Argentina, Germany and Japan in the past, and on my most recent time out of the country, Cuba and Central America. I lived in El Salvador for a little over a year. My favourite places were the small towns of El Salvador, the Mayan ruins in Copan, Honduras and Trinidad, Cuba. In my spare time, I can be found reading or dancing tango
