The Community Leadership Program is a professional development opportunity available to all UBC staff, faculty, and graduate students which focuses on leadership development, project management, and building capacity in connecting with communities.

The program occurs from October to March with workshops throughout the fall and culminates in the delivery of a community project at a local elementary school or non-profit organization with the support of UBC student volunteers. It’s a hands-on, unique opportunity that weaves strengths throughout the entire program and is a fantastic program anyone who’s excited about broadening their emerging leadership capabilities.

The program’s participants come from all departments and roles at UBC. The fee associated with the program is sponsored by UBC HR and the Centre for Community Engaged Learning so there is no cost to the department nor the participant.

Applications are currently being accepted until August 10, 2018.
