As part of the UBC Bookstore’s new space launch this Friday and Saturday (March 28 and 29), MEC is hosting the Grand Opening of an outpost store in the UBC Bookstore.
Events include clinics and classes, a membership drive and a draw for a MEC Race Series Package.
Going back to our roots – MEC at the UBC Bookstore is a return to our birthplace. The first discussions and initial operation of MEC happened among members of the Varsity Outdoor Club in the early 1970s. We’re proud to be returning to UBC in the form of an 800 square-foot outpost on campus.
