Colin will give us an overview of the services his office supports and promotes, and will work with us to identify some health & wellness opportunities for ES Vancouver.

Healthy Recipe:

Dietetics student Stephanie Dang from the school of Food Nutrition and Health has come onboard with us to contribute a weekly Healthy Recipe Series for staff and faculty at UBC to enjoy– The very first one is here and it is Summer Fresh Corn Salsa recipe

Museum of Anthropology Yoga:

The Museum of Anthropology’s yoga program (MOGA) is starting a new summer session on Wednesday, May 21st.

MOGA runs Wednesday and Thursday evenings 5:15-6:15  classes beginning next week (May 21st, 2014).  The session will run until October 16th. Cost: $45 for 5 classes, $80 for 10 classes, or $100 for unlimited classes. Those interested can contact jill.lindsay@ubc.ca  or  melanie.lawrence@ubc.ca

MEC Outdoor Yoga class May 24

On May 24, MEC UBC Bookstore  will host  an outdoor yoga class. Participants have to register and the cost is $10 however UBC staff and faculty will receive a 50% discount upon entering a valid UBC e-mail address upon registration.
