Who: Jennifer Kerr
Unit: Enrolment Services – Okanagan Campus
Position: Applicant Services Coordinator
Since: April 2014

Professional:
Jennifer worked at Okanagan College, International Education, Vernon Campus for many years before moving to UBC O.
Her business background includes a varied array of careers appropriate for a Gen X’r. For instance, Social Worker, floral shop owner, employment counselor, fitness instructor, ESL instructor, Social Media Marketer and Program Administrator to just name a few.
Personal:
Jennifer was a forester’s daughter and moved every few years, but she always considered Vernon her home as she spent her childhood summers there on the lake at her grandfather place. She has been a proud Vernonite for 15 years now.
Jennifer’s two loves, besides her family of course, are any type of dancing, grooving, moshing etc. and graveyards. Yes I said graveyards. She finds them very peaceful and takes her children there for history lessons.
Jennifer’s family surfs every summer in Tofino where she has been a beginner surfer for 10 summers in a row.
Her latest venture includes 46 chickens and 4 cows and she is in the midst of learning how to inseminate a Dexter Heifer. Breakfasts and BBQ’s at her place are quite yummy!!!
She has also been known to bake a pie for her BBA readers, so if you like pie and you like to read, give her a shout.
