UBC graduates, staff, faculty, and students who are making positive change are invited by alumni UBC to tell their story on the your evolution website, an online story-sharing platform. Jeff Todd, executive director, alumni UBC describes the your evolution website as a place “to share details of projects and connect with fellow alumni, find supporters, and inspire others to make a difference.”
Current stories range from the Vancouver Youth Food Policy Council to the Learning Buddies Network.
Members of the UBC community who upload stories by Sunday, March 1, 2015 to www.yourevolution.ubc.ca will be considered for a top ten shortlist, and then the public will have a chance to vote for their favorite.
The winner will receive a “social entrepreneur support kit” that will include a mentoring session with UBC President Arvind Gupta.
