Professional Background: Alisa comes to Enrolment Services from the Irving K. Barber School of Arts & Sciences where she was the Manager of Curriculum Development & Academic Programs and facilitated the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of both existing and new academic programs. Prior to coming to UBC, Alisa worked as a freelance researcher and writer to create educational resources for school boards across Canada. After graduating from the University of Alberta, Alisa taught grade one for 10 years; an experience for which she will always be grateful. Alisa is excited to start working toward obtaining an M.A. in Learning in Technology in 2019.
Personal: Alisa loves animals and the outdoors. She spends much of her free time exploring the Okanagan with her friends and 2 very spoiled (& cute) dogs.
