The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology at UBC coordinates the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund to enrich student learning by supporting innovative and effective educational enhancements.

This blogsite results from a TLEF project (2017-2020) entitled ‘The Learning Exchange as a Hub of Experiential Learning.’ The aim of this project was to create resources or tools to be used by university instructors in and community partners to develop and maintain effective teaching and learning collaboration in the downtown eastside (DTES) of Vancouver and beyond. The initial year involved consulting with community members, students, and instructors/coordinators about what effective partnerships look like and creating a report and resources. The next stage involved telling stories of effective partnership through blog stories and a podcast series.

The intended audiences for this blogsite include university instructors, students, and community organizations with an interest in community-engaged learning. Please get in touch if you would like to contribute.

Below are posters that document the progress of this project over the two-year granting period.
