“Say Cheese!” UBC DAP is hosting free LinkedIn headshots & pizza next week on Monday, January 15th and Thursday, January 18th

Join us for a free professional headshot session, network with fellow DAP students, and learn about how to prepare for CPA Spring Recruit and future employment opportunities.

Date: Two dates to choose from

  • Monday, January 15 at the Big 4 Conference Room, 9th floor of the Henry Angus Building
  • OR Thursday, January 18 at the Birmingham Room, across from CPA Hall in the Henry Angus Building

Time:   

  • Monday, January 15 from 3PM – 6:15PM
  • Thursday, January 18 from 4PM – 6:15PM

What’s included:

  • Free professional LinkedIn headshot
  • Free pizza, while it lasts!

Attire:

  • The headshots will be taken from waist-up, so professional attire on the top is recommended. Jeans are okay.

Upcoming SIN clinic info session and SIN Clinic registration link

Registration for the SIN Clinic is now open! As a new international student in Canada, you will need to get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) before you can start working or receive a scholarship. Service Canada agents will be on campus to issue your SIN at the SIN Clinic. The clinic will run for the following days:

  • Wednesday, December 20,  2023
  • Monday, January 8, 2024
  • Friday, January 12, 2024

Each session will run from 9:30 am to 3:30pm at UBC life building, Room 1501

Winter Term 2 schedule update – new section of BUSI 295 added

A new section of BUSI 295 – Business Economics has been added to the Winter Term 2 schedule (section 203). This will be a hybrid/online course, held on Mondays, 3-6 pm.

Registration for this section is now open and can be selected from Register Now. If you wish to transfer info this course, you can do so through Manage my Registration by selecting “transfer” next to the course you wish to transfer from.
