KPMG Ace the Case 2025 offers students the opportunity to work with their peers to develop a solution to a business problem and present it to KPMG leadership. This competition provides a platform to ignite a passion for solving real-world challenges, collaborate with students from across the country, enhance business skills, and grow a professional network within KPMG in Canada.
Case Competition Overview
The competition gives participants a taste of what it’s like to work at KPMG in Canada. Participants will engage in a spotlight session focused on the CPA support provided by the firm. Working in teams, participants will tackle a real-world business problem through a business, digital, and CPA lens, receiving valuable feedback from industry professionals.
KPMG Ace the Case is ideal for students interested in pursuing a career in audit, tax, or advisory at KPMG. Winners of the local competition will be invited to the national competition in Toronto, where teams will present their solutions to a panel of KPMG leaders.
Team Composition
Students can apply individually, and if selected, they will be grouped into teams meeting the following criteria:
Four to six students per team
Teams should be composed of individuals with diverse gender identities
Teams will include a mix of STEM students, business students, and/or students aiming to achieve their CPA designation
Prize Information
Winning teams may receive prizes such as KPMG swag, scholarships, a trip to Toronto, and a guaranteed interview for an open role at KPMG in a future recruitment cycle!
