As firms respond to your applications, it’s crucial to be prepared for interview scenarios. This workshop will guide you through interviews helping you develop strategies to perform your best, whether the interview is on-line or in-person. 

You’ll learn how to prepare impactful responses, ask insightful questions, and make a memorable impression. We’ll also teach you how to position your responses based on whether you are talking to recruiters, managers, or partners during the interview process. This workshop includes guest speakers from firms that participate in PPR.

Whether you’re new to the interview process or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop will equip you with the tools and confidence to stand out.

Ace Your Accounting Applications

As accounting firms start posting job openings, creating an application that stands out is crucial. In this competitive recruiting period, our workshop will help you craft compelling cover letters and resumes that capture the attention of recruiters. A strong application will increase your chances of landing multiple interviews and job offers.

This workshop builds on the themes from our previous sessions (PPR Overview and Networking) but is designed to be valuable even if you missed the earlier ones. Join us to gain the skills and confidence you need to make your accounting applications shine! You’ll also get an insider’s view from a recruiter on how to make a strong application.

Are you looking to launch your career in public practice?

The KPMG Lead Campus Ambassadors invite students to attend KPMG Konnect with UBC. This session offers a deep dive into the summer internship program and the dedicated support provided throughout your CPA journey. The event will feature an interactive panel with representatives from across our Audit service lines. Our Lead Campus Ambassadors will guide a discussion covering everything from navigating the recruitment process to what a typical day in the office looks like. The event will conclude with an open Q&A and networking session, giving you the opportunity to connect directly with our team before you apply. This event is intended for students interested in KPMG’s CPA opportunities during the current recruiting season.
