

- Study Permit Extension Application Review (in-person)
International Student Advising is hosting in-person Study Permit Extension (SPE) Application Review Workshops to help students prepare and review their applications before submission. These sessions are designed for students who have already started their application and would benefit from guidance and feedback from an International Student Advisor.
Workshop highlights:
- Step-by-step walkthrough of the Study Permit extension application process
- Document review and guidance on common issues
- Interactive Q&A with an advisor
Students are encouraged to bring their laptops and other documents relevant to their SPE application. Students must review the Study Permit Extension tutorial and the online review canvas course on Applying for a Study Permit Extension inside Canada before attending the workshop. Spaces are limited and registration is required.

- Immigration Q/A: Travelling Outside Canada during the Holidays (online)
This Q&A session is for international students planning to travel outside Canada during the summer term. Students who do not plan to travel during the holidays may attend this session if they have questions regarding extending their Temporary Residence Visa.

Planning to travel during the holiday season? Is your Temporary Residence Visa expiring soon? Join us for an interactive Q&A session where an International Student Advisor will answer all your questions about travelling outside Canada as an international student. We will cover topics such as a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)/eTA, re-entry requirements, essential travel documents, and how your travel may impact your study plans. This is your chance to get advice and ensure you’re fully prepared for a smooth return to Canada.
