Nutrikids is recruiting for a new Administration Coordinator for 2014-2015!
Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your public speaking and leadership skills? Are you looking to meet other Nutrition and Dietetic Students? This is also a great opportunity to strengthen your resume or Dietetics Application. Apply to become a UBC Nutrikids Coordinator!
ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES:
– Check emails regularly and addressing emails that aren’t pod-specific
– Recruiting volunteers/schools at beginning of the year
– Meeting minutes
– Forms and other logistics (ie, registration forms, evaluation forms, ….)
– Faxing and checking faxes
We have accumulated files, contact information and resources over the years,which will all be passed on. We will also be looking to train the future coordinators; therefore the successful applicants must be able to meet with us several times throughout the year. We will, of course, be available by phone or email to support the new coordinators in the coming school year.
The time commitment for this position is 5-6 hrs/week in the Fall, and tapers off through the Winter. Past experience with Nutrikids would be advantageous, but is not required. Most importantly, we are looking for students who are passionate about nutrition education and who will ensure the continuation of the Nutrikids program!
