ePortfolio support

The ‘promised’ support for those who attended our drop-in workshops – and even for those who didn’t! *btw – if you want more supported ‘play time’ next Tuesday morning, you can attend again – same room, same time (Scarfe 206 at 9-10am) – please email me though so I know to expect you. Alternatively, the Scarfe Digital Sandbox will be ‘open’ for ePortfolio and WordPress support during January.

In our session, we looked at: setting up your blog; adding pages and posts; categorizing posts; uploading content; changing menus. This link will take you to my own ‘sandbox’ portfolio blogsite where I mess around with what wordpress can do that satisfies my needs for an eP. I’ve tried to print some info or provide an example on each page. Note that this site is ‘in progress’ or ‘in process’ – added to as I work things out and get the time to update.   https://blogs.ubc.ca/testingportfolio/

Also of value are the tutorials found here: https://blogs.ubc.ca/portfolio/

The handout: ePortfolioHandoutRevised

The ppt presentation slides with examples of artifacts and tips on posts and pages: eP January Refresher

Putting the pieces together… one at a time!
