My name is Marissa Hall and I’m a fourth year PhD Candidate in the School and Applied Child Psychology program. I grew up in Ontario and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Western University. My dissertation explores how schools are supporting students mental health. Following graduation, I hope to continue working with children, youth, and families by completing assessments and providing therapy.

Outside of my academic and clinical work, I enjoy spending time in nature through backcountry camping, trail running, hiking, and have recently fallen in love with cycling. Staying active and maintaining close connections with friends and family has been an invaluable outlet throughout graduate school – advice I would readily give to anyone beginning their own journey.
