I am currently in my first year of the School and Applied Child Psychology PhD program. After completing my PhD, I’d like to work with children and adolescents completing assessments and intervention. I’m still not sure what that will look like, but I’m excited to find out! I was born in Stratford, Ontario. I received my BA in Psychology at Western University in London, Ontario. I’ve been interested in helping people solve and work through their problems ever since I was in early elementary school. When other kids were playing “house”, I was playing “therapist”. I always just knew this was the area I was meant to be. One thing I like about this program is the community. A special talent of mine is the piano! I played for for 14 years growing up, so it’s something I’m quite good at. A piece of advice I can offer is to take remember care of your mental health, sometimes it feels like you don’t have the time, but do your best to take at least one day off a week. You can’t be productive if you’re burnt out!
