Aisha Ghani

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the SACP program and I completed both my B.A and M.A. at UBC. Originally, I am from Surrey and have been living in Vancouver for the past 8 (or so) years. My previous experience includes research in language acquisition, clinical neuroscience, mental health, and genetics. My thesis investigated chronic health, health-related quality of life, and executive function in individuals diagnosed with FASD. In my Ph.D., I am looking forward to gaining clinical experience with diverse populations, continuing to build my assessment skills and learn to conduct counseling in hopes of becoming a well-rounded psychologist. Currently, I am exploring dissertation ideas with the help of my supervisors Dr. Anusha Kassan and Dr. Laurie Ford.
