I grew up in California before moving to Victoria, BC to complete my BA in psychology at University of Victoria. During his time in Victoria, I worked at public and private afterschool programs, CanAssist as a Job Coach for youth with disabilities, and a UVic child development lab studying embodied cognition. I currently attend the UBC School Psychology Master’s program and admire the comradery that the UBC School Psychology program facilitates to encourage professional and personal growth. Presently, I work at the Surrey School District, and enjoy applying what he has learned at the UBC School Psychology program to school settings. My practical and research interests include executive functions, universal design for learning in classrooms, and adulthood transitions for youth with intellectual disabilities.
