A message from Steve –

“Hi MBA Capstone students,

I am very much looking forward to getting together with all of you in the MBA Capstone Program which will take place on December 8th, 9th and 10th. I am in the midst of finalizing details for the Program. One of the feature events is to have you do, in assigned teams, a business challenge and analyse and prepare recommendations which you will present to the CEO of the organization on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 10th. There are 6 organizations and CEOs who will be involved in this part of the program and each CEO will have either 3 or 4 student teams assigned to him/her. I will give you the challenge on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 9th.  On the morning of December 10th, we would like you to present your analysis first to the faculty from around 8:00am to 10:30am. (There will be 6 faculty, one for each firm) and the presentations will take place simultaneously in 6 separate rooms.  Each presentation will be 10 minutes. The faculty will provide feedback to each team. In this way the teams will have the opportunity to modify their presentations before presenting to the CEOs starting around 1:00pm.

While I will provide you with a more detailed schedule over the next few weeks I wanted to give you a general idea of the ‘business challenge’ part of the Capstone Program. At this time there is nothing for you to prepare. On the Friday before Capstone starts I will post a case for you to read before the start of the program on the following Monday.

The MBA Capstone Program is going to be exciting, stimulating, educational and a lot of fun. Please be prepared to devote all day on each of December 8th, 9th and 10th to the Capstone Program.

Cheers,

Steve”
