Join us on Friday, December 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Brock Hall Concourse for a tropical holiday celebration!
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and lots of tropical and festive food will be served. If you will be consuming alcohol, please ensure that you have arranged for a safe ride home.
2nd Annual Gingerbread house decorating competition
Your challenge is to work as a team to build a unique and impressive gingerbread house that represents your unit. Use additional decorations and materials, but please restrict the gingerbread house footprint to 24″ x 24″.
Bring your gingerbread house to concourse at 4:00 pm to be judged by a panel of esteemed experts in the field of holiday baking. The winning unit will receive a coveted prize.

One gingerbread house kit will be distributed to each unit the week of November 30th.
Ugly sweater competition
Channel your inner grandpa! Dig out that terrible sweater your great-aunt bought you or head to a thrift store and buy yourself a winner. Your peers will decide which sweater is worthy of a special prize.

Beginning the week of November 30, we will be collecting food and household items at four locations:
- BH 0040 (basement)
- BH 1206 (main floor, ESP office)
- BH 2016 in the kitchen area (2nd floor)
- Ike Room 260 (ESP offices)

ES Charity of choice
Proceeds of our 50/50 sales will be donated to a worthy charity chosen by you, the people of ES. Please take a moment to review the nominated charities and vote for who you’d like to have the proceeds of the 50/50 sale donated to.
We will begin selling 50/50 tickets the week of November 30 right up until the draw takes place at the holiday party. Additional prizes will be drawn from the remaining pool of tickets!
Tickets are one for $2, three for $5 or eight for $10
