Ting has recently joined the Scheduling, Records & Systems Management (Student Systems Management team) as a Business Solutions Analyst and will be providing operational support for system access and use as well as engaging in IT systems projects for the next two and a half years.

Professional:
Originally graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Beijing Information Science & Technology University, Ting has gone on to complete an MBA from the Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business at the University of Regina. During her time as a student with the University of Regina, she had also embarked on a career within the post-secondary sector as a Senior Business Applications Analyst within the Registrar’s Office. Following her experiences there, she and her family relocated to Edmonton, Alberta where she was employed as a Senior Business Analyst within the Ministry of Education for the provincial government. In her role, she was largely involved in the capital budget application process that facilitated certification of teachers and jurisdictional leaders in Alberta. In addition to this she acted as a business lead for major project work within the ministry

Ting accepted her role as Business Solutions Analyst with the Student Systems Management team in November of 2018 and is excited to be a part of the department of Enrolment Services and living with her family in beautiful British Columbia.

Personal:
Ting enjoys an active family life and is busy raising two wonderful children. Relatively new to the Vancouver region, Ting and her family have been enjoying their free time exploring the city and taking in all it has to offer. In particular, Ting and her husband have been greatly enjoying the food scene and can often be spotted in Granville Island’s Market enjoying the fare at its various shops. This is her first winter in many years not having to deal with sub-zero temperatures and an icy landscape and can’t wait to experience the cherry blossom season that is fast approaching.
