With over 12,000 staff, UBC is a very big place and getting to know your colleagues in other departments can prove to be a big challenge. Fortunately there is a Hot Lunch once a month at St. John’s College where you can go and enjoy a buffet lunch, connecting with your fellow colleagues, and a speech from a leader on campus for only $10!
This month, Provost and VP Academic pro tem Angela Redish will be the speaker while all the attendees enjoy an International-themed buffet. Next month, interim President Martha Piper will be the guest of honour.
