With any luck, the weather has finally turned for good and we’re out of the long winter and onto Spring! And with that comes the return of regular activities and markets at the UBC Farm.

Check out some of what’s coming up this month:

Spring Pop-Up Egg Market

Turns out the UBC Farm hens were not at all perturbed by the snow and have been laying eggs up a storm all winter! The farm will be having a pop-up egg market once a month for everyone to drop by and pick up eggs – there’s no limit on eggs per family! The next one will be happening on March 21 at 4:30 pm. Check out their website here for more information.

Featured Workshops

The Farm also regularly offers interesting workshops on a variety of topics from cooking to gardening to arts and crafts! Upcoming workshops include:

  • Urban Foraging of Wild, Edible and Medicinal Plants (April 11 @ 6:30 pm)
  • Kombucha (May 6 @ 2:00 pm)
  • Authentic Japanese Cooking (May 13 @ 9:00am)
