A little bit about Ashley…
She is a UBC alumna with a BA in Political Science (Anthropology minor). Having legitimately referred to UBC as the “love of [her] life” on more than one occasion, she is thrilled to be back on campus and part of the Enrolment Services team.
Ashley has been in the HR field for more than five years and has spent all of that time in the non-profit sector, having worked in the past for Rick Hansen Foundation and YWCA Metro Vancouver. She also has done work transcribing movies and TV shows for closed captioning. In her free time, she volunteers for the High School Mentorship program at the YWCA.
She loves to laugh and consequently spends a lot of time on Granville Island attending shows at the Vancouver Theatresports League. Ashley is also a quasi-professional pet-sitter and is often living at place that aren’t even her own home, taking care of cats, dogs, and/or birds!
