Professional Background:
Harb comes to the ESP team with a diverse background in higher education having worked in academic advising, residence, recreation, and International education. After completing his BBA from BCIT, Harb went on to complete a Masters’ of Science Degree in Higher Education – Educational Leadership from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA (online program) this spring. Harb is extremely excited to take on a role with UBC that is focused on supporting student’s success, and is looking forward to getting to know all of his new ESP colleagues!
Personal:
Harb was born in Richmond, and lived in Victoria for six years before moving back to the lower mainland just prior to high school. He currently lives in Richmond with his wife, daughter, and son. His favourite activities include exercising regularly, growing/maintaining his vegetable garden, and spending time with family. He also enjoys visiting local craft breweries and sampling the variety of different beers.
