It may not be Christmas, but Santa is coming!
On Thursday, August 1o, Professor Ono will be visiting ES (Vancouver) and the SASI program team.
#15 will join us at 8:30 am for the monthly ES stand-up meeting where we will have the opportunity to ask him questions. As time will be tight, if you have a burning question for Santa we ask that you submit it ahead of time via the online ES stand-up feedback form.
After the ES stand-up, Kate will bring Santa around Brock Hall, and over to Ike Barber for a quick meet and greet with each group.
During the visit, each unit has been asked to share two things Professor Ono should know about your group. They should illustrate what is unique or important about your unit, or what you are particularly proud of.
Make sure to share your ideas with your Director, and connect with them to find what to expect when Professor Ono visits your unit.

- 8:30 – 8:50 am: At the ES stand-up meeting Professor Ono will share more about UBC’s Strategic Direction and answer staff questions
- 8:50 – 9:30: Kate Ross will host Professor Ono’s tour through the SASI and ES unit work areas in Brock Hall and Irving K. Barber
- 8:50 – 8:55 am: Undergraduate Admissions team tour with Andrew Arida
- 8:55 – 9:00 am: SASI team tour with Asima Zahid
- 9:00 – 9:05 am: Senate team tour with Chris Eaton
- 9:05 – 9:10 am: Student Records & Systems Management (SRSM) team tour with Annie Yim
- 9:10 – 9:15 am: Student Financial Services (SFS) team tour with Allison See
- 9:15 – 9:20 am: Student Recruitment Vancouver team tour with Andrew Arida
- 9:20 – 9:25 am Room 260, Irving K. Barber, Student Support & Advising (SSA) team tour with Darran Fernandez
- 9:30 – 10:00 am Room 260, Irving K. Barber, ES Student Engagement with Jennifer Chin
