Hello from Conroy
Hi Everyone,
I am Conroy Hall from Jamaica. This is mfry 9th MET course which I am doing along with ETEC 521. I hail from the parish of St Ann, one of the largest in Jamaica. For the past nine years, I am Mathematics, Computer Studies and Physics lecturer at Church Teachers’ College located in Manchester.
These ETEC 521 and 522 are final two courses I will take in this programme. I learnt a lot the previous courses I have taken and I hope do so this courses. I am looking forward to the informative class discussion.
Since May,2010, the courses that I have taken in the MET programme have certainly helped me to be more effective in my teaching. I realized that these courses are very useful in teaching at the tertiary level.
My philosophy is “look before you leap” which means never venture in anything without analyzing it first. After I have done my research on the courses in the MET programme, I realized that this course is very useful to me as an educator.

Hi Conroy,
I think we took one or two courses together. Don’t remember which one is though. I took ETEC 500, 511, 521, and 531 so far.
Wow, you are also from Jamaica. I’ve seen 3 people (including you) from Jamaica in this course. Nice meeting you again and am looking forward to working with you. 🙂
