Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany Tseng and I am currently teaching high school online courses in a school district here in the Lower Mainland. I have a math/biology background and have been teaching since 2007.
This is my fifth course in the MET program. The previous courses that I took all had a focus in teaching and education. I hope I can take a step back to learn more about the global learning marketplace in this course.
I live in Coquitlam with my husband and our 3-year-old son, Trevor. I am currently 4 months pregnant (our second baby is due in October), and we are very excited to welcome a new life into our family.
We love to travel, and Japan is one of our favourite places to visit. Here is a picture of Mount Fuji (taken in 2013 @ Lake Kawaguchi).
I look forward to working with everyone in the next few months! : )
Great photo Tiffany, it must feel good to be half way through the MET. It’s nice to meet you and I’m looking forward to working with you this term.
Cheers,
Bobbi
Wow, congratulations! Lots going on for you this year. I would love to travel to Japan and other countries around there. I’ve mostly kept to Europe in my last travels. What other places have you enjoyed?
Nice running into you again, Tiffany. it’s always good to see a familiar face.
Kirsten
I thought this is a very familiar mountain shape, but I couldn’t recognize it as Mt. Fuji in Japan until you mentioned it! I didn’t expect to encounter a Japanese landmark on the ETEC course blog shared by a peer across the Pacific Ocean. What a global world we are in! Next time, come and visit with your new baby.
Yuki
Hi Tiffany,
Great to see you taking a similar course again! Lovely photo of Japan, when will you go back? Congratulations on your second child! That’s wonderful news Tiffany, happy for you.
Cheers,
Leah
Hi Bobbi,
Thank you! Nice meeting you too and I look forward to working with you! : )
Tiffany
Hi Courtney,
Yup, this is a busy year for sure! : ) My husband and I went to London and Cambridge for our honeymoon in 2009. We took our parents back to Europe the following year and visited Germany, France and Austria. We really enjoyed Europe but I got my wallet stolen on the subway in Paris : (
I want to go somewhere nice and sunny next time (to escape the rainy winter in Vancouver)……
Looking forward to working with you this term! : )
Hi Kirsten,
Nice seeing you again! I think we were in the same course (ETEC 510) last term : ) Looking forward to working with you in the next few months!
Hi Yuki,
Nice to meet you! I love how the MET program allows us to work with people from all over the world! We stayed at an onsen hotel in the Lake Kawaguchi area in 2013, and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had! Looking forward to working with you this term : )
Tiffany
Hi Leah,
Thank you and nice seeing you again! I saw your great photo of the tulips in Hope – you must be all settled now after a busy winter : ) Take care and I look forward to working with you again this term!
