The Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Network (iGSN) is a graduate student-led group dedicated to fostering the interdisciplinary experience at UBC. Our mission is to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge-sharing between graduate students from different disciplines and departments.

The iGSN is looking for graduate students at UBC to join our executive committee! We are looking to fill the positions of:

  • Assistant VP Social
  • Assistant VP Student Services (Sports)
  • Assistant VP Finance
  • Assistant VP Academics
  • Assistant VP Communications
  • Assistant VP Social Media and Marketing

Assistant Vice-Presidents (VP) support the duties performed by executives. This provides a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the graduate student community, learn about the iGSN, and prepare for more executive responsibilities in the future.

MFRE News post: Grad Project and COVID-19

The MFRE has just published a new post regarding MFRE Graduating Projects contributing to the efforts addressing the pandemic of COVID-19. Two of our students are doing research in order to understand and control the situation better.
