Hello and happy beginning of autumn! ????
I am excited to announce the Sustainability Scholars Program wrap-up conference “Research to Action: Advancing Urban Sustainability 2024.” We are holding it in-person at the Point Grey campus and I hope you can attend—the Scholars have produced some exemplary research on a wide variety of sustainability topics this year.
We thought that you and the graduate students in your network might be interested in this event showcasing a range of graduate student sustainability research. We invite you to register for the event and kindly ask that you share this information with your network. Your support in spreading the word would be greatly appreciated!

What happens when you give bright and engaged students real-world sustainability problems to solve?
UBC Sustainability Scholars are helping to generate real change in the world. Join us on Wednesday, October 2 to learn more about the ways in which these students are supporting our local governments and institutions to future-proof our people, our cities, and our urban spaces.

Where: Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability, 2260 West Mall, Vancouver, BC (in-person only)
