Please circulate the following poster to your graduate students as a reminder for the upcoming University of Saskatchewan 36th Annual Plant Sciences Graduate Students’ Symposium. The event will be held virtually over Friday March 5th (Keynote Speakers) and Saturday March 6th (Student Presentations). Please register and submit an abstract before January 31st and submit a video file before February 5th. Both pre-recorded keynote speaker and student presentations will be followed by live Q&A periods. Student presentations are expected to be 10-12 minutes in length. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS LFS GRADUATE STUDENT CONFERENCE

The 8th annual Land and Food Systems Graduate Student Conference is currently accepting abstracts for our one-day conference via Zoom happening on Monday, March 15. This conference will include a plenary address, and both poster and oral presentations with associated competitions with cash awards.

All graduate students, as well as post-doctoral students, undergraduate students and graduate students co-supervised by a faculty member in LFS are eligible to present any part of their research or work in their graduate program. This may include but is not limited to final results from a project, a research proposal, a systematic or narrative literature review, or another unique topic related to your research or work area.

Participation in this event is an ideal way to hone your presentation skills in an open academic environment, prepare for other conferences, and add to your CV. Come share your research alongside other graduate students in our diverse faculty with professors and students from across campus.
