  • Associate Dean, What’s new in LFS and Introduction of new employees.
  • Sebastian Gonzalez, Senior Manager-Identity and Access Management from UBC Information Technology will present on the campus-wide initiative “Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)”. MFA is being used to enhance cybersecurity at UBC; the LFS Learning Centre will begin onboarding us to MFA this summer.

Bruce Anderson, Occupational & Research Health & Safety Director from UBC Risk Management, to present “The Role of Supervisors at UBC”. Bruce will discuss the responsibilities of supervisors in creating a culture of safety, and discuss the resources his department has available
