PLNT 590 Applied Image Processing for Biological Sciences

Standard

Registration for Winter 2024 Opening Soon!

Biological systems are dynamic in space
and time. Modern digital image processing
provides unprecedented insights into 2D
and 3D aspects of structual features and
their impact on system function. X-ray tomography
scans collected for plants, soils
and insects will serve as training datasets
to obtain hands-on experience in digital image
processing using open source software
packages.
