Dear UBC graduate students,

We are currently recruiting UBC graduate students from all faculties for ECOSCOPE’s 2019-2020 cohort! Our advanced training program bridges the gap between science and industry through education, networking with local entrepreneurs, and internships in industry. If you are interested in learning more about our program, please come to one of our information sessions or visit ecoscope.ubc.ca.

The Ecosystem Services, Commercialization Platforms and Entrepreneurship (ECOSCOPE) industrial stream NSERC CREATE training program provides UBC students and post-docs with the skills needed to translate environmental sequence information derived from studying microbial communities in natural and engineered ecosystems into commercial and entrepreneurial activities.

Best wishes,

Jennifer

LFS Grad Office in January

Standard

Happy New Year!  Hope you all had a good rest over the holidays and you’re finding ways to stay warm and dry in this wonderful Vancouver winter wonderland J

I just wanted to give you all a heads-up – this time of the year is a peak-period for undergraduate advising.  In order to be able to manage the number of undergrads who are coming for in, we periodically need to close the main door to Student Services.  If you drop by and the door is closed, please just knock or send Lia or me an email to let us know to expect you.  The advisors will be busy with students until the add/drop deadline in the middle of January.

Thanks, everyone!
